JOIN THE LEGAcy society today

Join the Legacy Society by making a planned gift to Marist through the Marist High School Foundation. Members of the Legacy Society include alumni, parents, grandparents and friends who, through thoughtful estate planning, deferred giving and other forms of planned gifts, ensure that financial resources will be available to support Marist well into the future. There are many reasons to give. Meet other Legacy Society members and read why they have chosen to share their resources in this significant way.

Leaving a legacy can be a simple statement ...
Name the Marist Foundation as the recipient of your gift. The foundation receives, invests and distributes funds to benefit Marist Catholic High School.

If your gift is for general support of the Marist Foundation, please use the following language in your will or living trust:

“I hereby give, devise, and bequeath to the Marist Foundation, a non-profit organization existing under the laws of the State of Oregon, Taxpayer ID number 93-0572034 [INSERT OUTRIGHT AMOUNT OR PERCENT OF ESTATE OR DESIGNATE THE FOUNDATION AS THE BENEFICIARY OF A LIFE INSURANCE POLICY] to be used to further the mission of Marist Catholic High School.

Or simply designate the We Are One Endowment.

If your gift is for a specific purpose or is a gift of real estate, please contact Rebecca Larson 541-914-8180 [email protected] so that we may work with you and your advisors to draft language that ensures Marist Foundation will be able to use your gift as you intend. Thank you!
...or a sophisticated instrument.
Planned gifts are many and varied and offer a variety of potential tax benefits. Please consult with your financial advisor, accountant or tax consultant when planning your gift for the benefit of students through the Marist Foundation.
Every gift is important. We welcome the opportunity to speak with you prior to the finalization of your estate plans by your financial advisor, accountant or tax consultant to ensure that the goals for your planned gift are achieved.
